Charlene Norquist PT, MPT, OCS, CLT-UE
Charlene is a California native, living most of her life in the Bay Area. While at UC Irvine working towards her Bachelors of Arts in Dance, Charlene became involved in the athletic training room, working with athletes and dancers. She became certified in 2000 as an athletic trainer. In 2000, she graduated from Chapman University with a Masters in Physical Therapy. Since graduation, she has worked in a variety of outpatient settings. In 2004 she became Board Certified in Orthopedic Physical Therapy. Recently, Charlene has been working with oncology patients after surgery, radiation and/or chemotherapy to help them return to their normal function and lifestyles. In March 2017 she became PORi certified Oncology Rehabilitation. Recently, Charlene became certified as an upper extremity lymphedema therapist. On a more personal note, Charlene lives with her husband and two beautiful daughters in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Charlene enjoys volunteering at her daughter’s school, reading and being outdoors as much as possible.

Marjorie Wagoner PT, DPT
Marjorie was raised on the Space Coast of Florida in Melbourne for majority of her life. While at the University of Florida, she interned with the athletic training department working with women’s soccer, lacrosse, and softball. In 2018, she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences, during which she has worked towards her Manual Therapy Certification. Her clinical internship experiences were in Lake Charles, Louisiana, Annapolis, Maryland, and Tucson, Arizona. Outside of the clinic, Marjorie loves to hike, go backpacking, play beach volleyball, and travel and explore new places.

Dan Reddington PT, DPTView Profile
Dan is the Director of Physical Therapy for OrthoNorCal. Dan is a licensed physical therapist through the American Physical Therapy Association and certified in the use of Blood Flow Restriction (BFR) training via Owens Recovery Science, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC) via Functional Anatomy Seminars, and dry-needling through Kineticore (Level 1 & 2). Dan earned both his bachelor’s degree and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy with an emphasis on Sports Strength and Conditioning at Northeastern University in Boston, MA. During his clinical rotations at Northeastern, Dan gained invaluable experience while working at the prestigious Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL. While at the Andrews Institute, Dan implemented rehab interventions for college and NFL football players, as well as MLB baseball players. After graduating from Northeastern, Dan began his professional career in Rhode Island at an outpatient orthopedic clinic with emphasis on knee and shoulder conditions. Before joining OrthoNorCal, Dan spent the previous two years at Monterey Spine and Joint, helping to build their practice from the ground up. Dan is originally from Rhode Island, where he played football and basketball through high school. He is an avid sports fan and enjoys exercising and spending time outside with his dog!

Ken Banting PT, DPT
Ken is a licensed physical therapist through the California Physical Therapy Association. He earned his bachelor’s in Exercise Physiology, and his Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. During his time at Marquette, Ken invested years working in an applied science physiology lab and a biomechanics lab. His research contributions studied the physiological effects of triathlon training for breast cancer survivors, the effects of dancing for people with Multiple Sclerosis, and studied three-dimensional motion capture systems. Ken had the opportunity to participate and lead numerous volunteer groups focused on service with adaptive athletes, underserved communities, and persons with disabilities. His experiences redefined his understanding of athleticism, comprehensive health and integrative wellness.
To experience a broad perspective of recovery, he pursued multiple clinical rotations in both acute care in-patient (General Medicine, Cardiac, Orthopedics, and ICU) at the Aurora West Allis Hospital in Wisconsin and the Mayo Clinic Headquarters In Minnesota; and out-patient orthopedic practices at OrthoCincy in Ohio, and Froedtert Hospital in Wisconsin. His professional career began with Quinn Orthopedic Physical Therapy where he treated primarily at the Apple Wellness Center serving the diverse community of Silicon Valley. Ken believes that the fastest way to recovery is through a (pro)active participation in one’s health. Driven to progress individualized rehabilitation program to their optimal conditions, Ken has a pragmatic evidence and research-based approach with his practice. He has professional interests with sports-related injuries, concussion rehab, chronic pain, overuse injuries and post-surgical cases. He was born and raised in the Philippines, yet a Midwesterner at heart, where he danced in high school and college. Ken enjoys backpacking, staying active, and cooking from scratch!

Our physical therapists not only provide interventions based on their careful judgements about diagnosis and prognosis, but also confer regularly with your referring physician to optimize and expedite your recovery.
Our Director of Physical Therapy, Dan Reddington, came to San Jose from New England via Monterey Spine and Joint to bring the vision of creating an integrated model of physical therapy in an environment that is suitable for all ages and activity levels in the South Bay. After years of assisting countless athletes return from injury, enhance their performance, and excel at their sports, he was determined to create a similar environment for the general public. In order to achieve this vision, we developed a relationship with the San Francisco 49ers in order to help us bring a professional level of care to the people in our community. We are the third medical group to partner with the 49ers in this fashion. We plan to utilize the medical knowledge of the 49ers medical staff and combine that with the diverse background of our team of physical therapists and physicians in order to develop comprehensive education and treatment programs for all types of injuries.

OrthoNorCal is a Physical Therapy Center operating within the new, state of the art 49ers Fit health and fitness center in San Jose, CA. This setting offers a unique opportunity for physical therapists to integrate strength and conditioning principles into their rehabilitation plans, bridging the gap between traditional rehab and return to athletics/activities. Therapists will work with a wide range of post-operative and non-operative diagnoses.
