Chelsea Lawrance, PA-C, ATCPhysician Assistant
“As a Physician Assistant, I am dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care to patients of all ages.”
While finishing my undergraduate studies in Athletic Training, I decided I wanted to expand my scope of practice and further pursue medicine. Being a Physicians Assistant allows me to work hand-in-hand with physicians and be an integral part of the health care team. As an orthopedic PA, I can evaluate, diagnose and treat a variety of orthopedic complaints while working with a supervising physician. I also have the privilege to assist surgeons in the operating room.
Furthermore, I am a certified Athletic Trainer and have experience working with a variety of sports teams including football, soccer, hockey, baseball, volleyball and many more. With my sports medicine background, I enjoy helping patients of any age get back to an active lifestyle. I take pleasure in taking the time to speak to each patient on an individual level and help them reach their recovery goals. I currently work directly with Dr. Christian Heywood and enjoy working together with him to ensure that our patients are happy and healthy.
Outside of being a Physician Assistant, I enjoy playing soccer, attending sporting events of all kinds and cooking with my husband. Being a Southern California native and growing up surfing in the Orange County breaks, you can find me at the (cold!) NorCal beaches and being active outside in our beautiful California weather.
